Testimonials

The most important benefit is receiving the opportunity to network with other minority professionals. For a very long time, I didn't think Wilmington really had any minority professionals and the Wilmington Minority Professional Networking Group has helped me change that perspective.

As a graduate student making connections with people is going to influence if I stay in Wilmington. It also helps with job searches and making a decision in what I would like to do with my degree.

I'm new to the area and looking for professionals to network with. It's important to surround yourself with a solid support group and the Wilmington Minority Networking Group creates an environment an opportunity to develop relationships with peers in my area of expertise.

I just wanted to take to opportunity to thank you for allowing me to attend the Social Gathering for Minority Professionals yesterday. I enjoyed meeting you and others. I look forward to the continuing build relationships with you and others in make a different in our community.

My wife and I enjoyed meeting each of you last week at the Bonefish Grill. It is a wonderful thing to be able to link up and socialize and network with other professionals who look like you and experience some of the same things you experience. It is very refreshing and we are looking forward to more events to come.

Networking programs like those of the Wilmington Minority Professional Network give our employees an opportunity to come together with other area professionals and share their backgrounds and experiences. It also creates opportunities for career growth, which is positive for our recruitment and retention efforts.

I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed meeting you on Thursday at Bonefish Grill. I have lived in the Wilmington area the majority of my life and I must say it is wonderful to see so many successful minority professionals finally migrating to the area. I look forward to our continued association and the many events to come.

Thanks for the invite. My husband and I enjoyed the event. I would be great to continue to see all workplace genres represented at each event. It was a pleasure to meet you and I hope to participate in the future.

Thanks for bridging this gap for us... I'm really excited about this group. Let me know what we as individuals that can do to assist and/or make this happen!

Thank you for your commitment to the Minority Businesses; as attending this event has been very helpful in meeting a diversity of new customers, developing friendships and networking.
